As tri bars are road legal, they are allowed on our sportives.
We recommend training in preparation for our events so that you are able to ride the distance.
All details of finish times can be found on the events pages. Further information will also be sent out in the pre-event pack 1 week prior to the event.
All of our sportives are ridden on open roads. You must follow the highway code at all times.

You can ride any bike you choose so long as it is road legal and road worthy. Road bikes, mountain bikes and hybrid bikes are all fine so long as you can complete the chosen distance in the time allocation.
In case of medical emergency, always dial 999 and ask for the relevant service. For minor accidents, call our support number and we will advise you on the location of our nearest support.
Your clothing should be comfortable and adequate for the conditions. Northern weather can be inconsistent so we recommend a light packable waterproof for all rides.
Pre-event information packs will be sent to your email inbox 1 week prior to the event. If you have not received this, please check your spam/junk folders.
The route will be fully waymarked. More details will be sent in your pre-event information pack.
As the sportive is not a race, no time will be offered by BST Sporting Events. However, a Strava segment will be available for those wishing to know their time.
